Baruch Porras-Hernandez is a two-time winner of Literary Death Match, a host of literary shows for KQED, and was named Writer to Watch in 2016 by 7x7 Magazine. His poetry can be found in Aim for the Head, The Tusk, Foglifter, Assaracus, and other anthologies. He has been an artist-in-residence at The Ground Floor at Berkeley Rep and is a Lambda Literary Fellow in Poetry and in Playwriting. He has performed in NYC, LA, DC, and parts of Canada, from The Moth to RISK, in strip clubs and drag cabarets, from fancy universities to dark, damp caves. He is the founder and host of ¿Donde Esta Mi Gente?, a Latinx literary showcase. He was born in Mexico and lives in San Francisco.
